Like all PAULY Beds, Sophia is built on the same basis and with the best natural materials available, except that it does not contain horsehair in the mattress or box spring base. Hence, it will be the horsehair topper you choose (the layer closest to your body) that will make the difference and reflect your preference.
Combine any of our handmade upholstered headboards with a Pauly Bed to enhance its beauty. All headboards also include cotton, wool and horsehair. Because they are close to your head you should enjoy the benefits of clean air and excellent ventilation.

Pauly’s striped fabrics provide your bed with an original look and style. Pauly fabrics are woven from the best pure cotton. There are 48 threads per square centimeter, which means that Pauly uses the highest quality fabrics in the entire bed industry. Pauly fabric has a mite-proof and moth-proof finish. For better safety, the fabrics are immersed in a special salt solution that prevents fabric (and therefore also the entire bed) from starting a fire. Thanks to its exceptionally high elasticity, we can use Pauly fabrics for the upholstery of your entire Pauly bed.
